Pets by Proxy
A game I made for this jam.
There was no theme or anything, so I made a virtual pet/resource manager game.
The title is meaningless. I just used it because of its alliteration.
To be honest, I scuffed it quite a bit because I'm going through a busy period in my study.
Here are a few things that I messed up:
- I wanted to add a car that gave you a few choices for raising the pet's mood.
- The UI placement is wrong.
- I haven't added any sound effects.
- There's a glitch where pop-up boxes will sometimes make you select an interactible item, causing the game to pause, which is pretty disorienting. I have no idea what causes this.
I think I did manage to achieve a balance and I think the game is pretty fun.
